Hopelessness
Okay, well, a couple years ago, I started looking at porn (wow, that's hard to admit). At first, it was just a couple pictures; it quickly turned into hardcore videos. I felt so ashamed after I watched it, every single time, but it seemed like such a risk-free way of unleashing any sexual emotion. Haha, yeah right. Everything fell apart after that. Nobody knows about it but me, but that's the worst thing. I feel so alone in my struggle. I talked to one friend about it, a non-Christian friend, though. I so desperately need a strong Christian figure who'll stand by me and help me and encourage me. But I live in a small town, where I see everyone all the time, so I feel like I can't tell anyone without it affecting my entire social life. It majorly sucks. If any of you guys out there know of any good books, programs, whatever, that could help, please post them up. I definitely need prayer; I really do want to have a very strong relationship with God. I just feel like I'm in too deep now, that I'll never be able to salvage that relationship. It just feels hopeless.
Stay in the Word.
MEMORIZE and quote scripture. Tell it to yourself. YELL it at yourself, even. The Word is your sword. Truth is our weapon.
Stay in prayer.
Keep busy (if you're like me, it's alot easier for the devil to gain a foothold when you're bored.)
Get x3watch and an accountability partner.
