I'm Sick Of The "M" Word

I am addicted to masturbation, the "m" word. I began masturbating when I was in 7th grade and have continued up until now. Until recently, I never thought it was wrong. I thought it was keeping me from doing "other things", but I was only denying the truth. I realized what I was doing was wrong when my best friend, we'll call him "Dewey", told me that it was a sin.
"Dewey" lost his dad May 9th, 2002, but he has never let it stop him from being an amazing friend. He too struggles with the "m" word. "Dewey" has helped me with my problems by introducing me to this site.
Together we are helping each other through this rough battle.
