DONNY IS THE MAN
We have given Donny Pauling a hard time about his choice of clothes but he does look great now that he has lost almost 50lbs. CBS Evening News just threw this piece up on their website. Listen to what Donny has to say. He calls what he did "Abuse". He said he was tired of abusing women. If you are consuming porn...maybe the same thing applies. Ever thought about it that way? Donny's story is so powerful and this weekend alone he shared at a Porn and Pancakes in Redding along with a pastors conference in Michigan. Seriously though... God is using Donny's ugly past to speak LIFE into so many now. Donny truly is a trophy of God's grace and I am honored to know him.

Doesnt the bible talk about putting young Christians into leadership? Nothing like just becoming a Christian and then being on staff with a ministry...

Jim...so what you're saying is that the Bible doesn't allow God to use people who just got saved? If that's the case, then at what point do you become "usable" by Christ? How do you determine what point that is? You apparently know since you're eluding that it's wrong to use Donny.

The basics of it are this: God's given very clear boundaries on what I can and can't do the first 3 years. If you'd like a more detailed answer than that, read the blog entry I just posted.
