WOMEN AND PORN
Our friends at Pure Life Ministries are working on a new project dealing with women and porn and could use your help.
Help Pure Life Ministries write a Book for Struggling Women
Take this anonymous & confidential survey. Pure Life Ministries needs your help! They are working on a new book for struggling women and have put together a short survey for those of you who would like to contribute your thoughts, past experiences, and insight to this book. Women who struggle, pastors and counselors, those who know someone who struggles or anyone with good ideas... please give them your input and help thems create the best book they possibly can.

Struggling women? What kind of struggling? Struggling with drugs? Stuggling with a dumb ass boyfriend on drugs? Stuggling with a lazy ass husband who won't work? Stuggling with a too tight girdle? Please define struggling as it seems you are struggling with a limited amount of grey matter to work with.
PS: I know why your doing this, and it's just to get your jollies, not to help women. Your getting off on it. And you thought we, (some of us) weren't smart enough to figure you guys out.

Barbara:
Maybe if you had bothered to read the survey before you went on your silly, judgmental tirade, you would have found out.

It's sad to see that some people do not appear capable of taking this ministry seriously.
Sexual addiction does not descriminate.
The truth is that both Men AND Women have battles with sexual temptation in varying degrees, based on the Man's or Woman's amount of mental discipline, and Pornography (in differing forms) finds it's way into his/her life as an addictive, and ultimately dangerous substitute to pacify the man's or woman's appetite.
Porn manifests differently in each of the sexes.
MEN THINK VISUALLY. Most of the time, We can look at (for example) a Ford V6 engine, and after looking at it long enough we can probably tell you how to take it apart & put it back together without using an instruction book.
Therefore, to get an undisciplined man turned on sexually, all he has to do is see something sexually attractive or visualize the memory of something sexually attractive he had SEEN long enough, and his motor will be running until he feels there is no other choice but to something about it.
WOMEN THINK EMOTIONALLY. Since most women dont think visually as most men do, you wont find very many Porn mags with pictures of naked men written for women, The woman's typical lack of interest in sexual visualization gives uninformed Women the excuse to look down their noses at us men, and preach that "Pornography" is only a Scummy, low-life Pervert's disease, that only men can catch, and women are immune to.
There is nothing further from the truth. Keep reading for just a little bit more, and you will see for yourself.
Women are turned on with spoken or written WORDS and especially, emotional FEELINGS --triggered by WORDS, --not Pictures.
Not a lot of women will be turned on by a picture of a naked man, but most undisciplined women are turned on a detailed story, or even a movie of a charismatic, strong, secure, sensitive and powerful leading man swooping in and being Mr "Calgon take me away" for a damsel that appears just like her in some way, and the addicted woman will melt every time.
How many men have tried whispering "Sweet Nothings" into their sweetheart's ear? Men, If she's in the right mood, what happens next?
I may be over simplifying this but the basics are covered. The Woman's pornography is not always Graphic Pictures, but "WORD PICTURES" that cause an emotional escape & thrill that can turn sexual in the undisciplined feminine mind. And Feminine pornography is everywhere, though not as obvious, because it isnt visually polluting as Men's Porno is. Female Porno is found in the The romance novel, the romantic "chick flick", or anything that will trigger Fantasies of having some confident, sensitive, rich & strong man with a deep, "Barry White voice" swoop in & take care of her life's problems for her. It doesnt matter what the man looks like most of the time, so Mister right usually isnt pictured, The Woman's Pornography is materials that will stir up and perpetuate this fantasy of a fantasy Man's power to take her away from her troubles.
When real-life men fail to measure up to this fantasy, The female porn addict gets feministic & bitter about real-life Men, and real men become worthless to her (just like the male porn addict gets bitter about real life women, and real women become worthless to him).
I'm not a counselor, but I was sucked into the porno trap myself, before and after I got married, so I studied why it's so addictive and the feelings that go through mens & women's minds as a means of getting my own deliverance from this. I am lucky compared to other men & women I've known and read about...
Chauvinistic behavior evolves into marital fighting, which can lead up to Divorce, and in extreme cases, I've learned Homosexuality, and/or Sexual Crimes will eventually occur if porn/sexual addictions are not stopped in time.
I hope this helps you.

Fellers:
If I had to guess (and I do), I'd say that Barbara is one of the thousands upon thousands of women that has had her trust severely violated by men in her life in the area of sex, porn, etc. I'd wager her skepticism is not born of ignorance, but of a painful past.
Barbara:
I submit to you that not every man is untrustworthy. I also submit that the men of the X3church ministry are very much trustworthy, and they are actively trying guide men and women out of sexual bondage and into lifestyles where they too can be trustworthy and live lives of sexual integrity.

Barbara,
I'm a 27 year old woman whose life has been turned upside down because my own sexual battles. I then married someone who faced very similar battles. Don't be so judgemental. There really are people out there who need someone else to speak up & be honest about their journey confronting sexual addiction. I had no-one except God when I first realised that trouble I'd got myself into. I believed that no-one would understand because no women had lived through what I had. At least, that was my perception. It's great to see that the church is becoming so much more open about this stuff. Bring it on, I say!

I am 30 and I'm a woman. I have been struggling with masterbation for some time now and I use porn sometimes to help me get a stronger orgasm. I feel like dirt after I do it. I am also married. I use to be a frustrated in the sex department because I couldn't get enough an he use to be moderate and less about his sexual appetite. I want total deliverance from this. God has answered my prayer as far as my sex life with him, we are way hot for each other now. The problem now is that I need to stop looking up porn at times when I want my way. We are sexual beings and we all need to learn how to control ourselves even if it's just our own imagination. Believe me, women watch porn too, but they won't admit it because they don't want to be labeled as being a lesbian. Strait girls like this stuff also.
