I have struggled with porn since I was 12 (6 years ago). I got saved at 13 but I have continued with this struggle. It started with romance novels and escalated to pictures then videos. I really just wanted to tell you how much your site has helped me.
When I am on the internet and I want to go to a porn site I find myself typing in your site instead and it gives me support.
I was reading your hatemail which is what prompted me to write this. As I read these people throwing scripture at you and telling you to 'repent or go to hell' I couldn't help but cry for them. I kept thinking 'Lord, save me from your followers.' I pray for you and your ministry regularly and I thank you for all you have endured in order to make this site, it really has helped a lot of people.

Hello, my name is Matt, im writing from Washington and I have to say without a doubt, I love all you guys at XXXCHURCH. I have been working my way through all your "Dirty Little Secrets" Podcast and videos on Itunes. Watching them over and over again at work, home, in the car has been the highlight of my day. I just like every guy, stubbed into porn and with the help of your videos, interviews, sermons I have finally got help. Hearing from the former porn stars, how they were treated and used made me angry at the industry. Along with that the interviews with authors and pastors about how it can hurt your relationships really gave me that final push to stop. I have a girl friend, (unlike brandon *haha*) and I love her with all my heart. I'd do anything for her and to stop harmful things from coming into our relationship. I have been porn free for abuot a week so far, and to be honest it has been the hardest week ever. When stopping I started to notice more and more things were porn is, that people dont really pay attention to. With alot of prayer and self control, Jesus has been walking me through it all. My Brother is a Pastor here and we both love you guys. You should make a stop up here. I know he would love having you speak to his youth group. Keep up the great work! much love!!

I just wanted to contact you to let you know that my friend and I listened to a talk you had made at Rob Bell's church which he downloaded.  I want you to know that I totally support what you are doing!!  a)  You asked God to give you a mission.  b)  He did . . . in one word, and c)  You followed his call, even though it might not have made sense.   Don't you think that is how God often works.
 
I also totally agree that if Jesus were here he would be hanging out at the porn conventions - maybe he would even offer to wear the rabbit suit!  Our church (I am involved in a Convention Baptist Church where I am the music director, located in southern Ontario) is moving toward being more missional, and I completely agree that we need to be looking "out there" rather than waiting for people to come where we are at.
 
I am not surprised that you have had some nasty responses and emails from Christians.  I think Satan is pretty happy with where the North American church is at right now.  He would not want something like your ministry going on.  I also know that for every negative comment you get, it takes about 40 positive to make up for it.

  In regards to the hate mail I found myself reading. There was a quote of scripture in which was posted by Anon that I wish to confront. Anon say that "do not judge lest ye be judged" which is very true Anon. Just one small problem with that, with your hate mail you have passed your own judgement against the XXXchurch. These people have helped a lot of teens. I use them for my teens who come to my website via myspace for help with porn addictions. I am currently under going a project with my best friend that has been including xxxchurch. You don't think God is moving through this site. HA! I was addicted to porn at one point in time. when I found this site it help a lot to see there are other people who had the same problem I do. I am now saved, attend church every Sunday, and am helping teens via myspace. So before you pass judgements of your own, find out what is more than skin deep. See what is more than just a descriptive title on the side of an SUV. Know what your talking about.

My name is John Allen, though that may be meaningless, I'm just a faceless name that's struggling and fighting this sin of porn and all that goes along with it. *sigh* I'd like to thank you for all your troubles, trails, and tribulations, and all that you and your staff had to and still may go through to keep this ministry alive. Thank you.
There's a ministry and support group and everything else for every other sin and addiction under the same....except us...there's not that many avenues we can travel.
Please don't stop what your doing, please don't stop fighting, whatever it is that you have to fight, don't stop. I can't vouch for anyone else but myself...its people like you who give me a voice, who give me an avenue to deviate myself from a path that leads to something no fun nor cool. I'm not going to turn this into a thesis statement, I just wanted to drop a line to express my gratitude. Blessings to you and your staff and your ministry.

I've been struggling with pornography for 5 years now. I thought there were very few people that struggle with it, but you guys showed me that I'm not alone, and how I can get past it to be the man God made me.

Your site has been so much help for me, and it just showed me what I need to do to get rid of all temptation completely.

After looking at the page more and watching some of the videos you have posted on there it was actually pretty informational to me. I commend you all that are involved in this mission. When one thinks about the major addictions most would first think of gambling, drugs, alcohol, etc. Not so much porn. But porn is an addiction, and a BIG one, that many Americans struggle with everyday. So keep up the good work...

I am telling everyone about this book!  It is a must read for every Christian!  I even shared it with an older gentleman who was sitting next to me on a plane today  I shared how it touched me an told him a bit about it.  He read part it on the plane after I finished it.  I noticed he wrote the name of the book down on his tablet that we was carrying with him.  I pray he will purchase it and share it with others.  
 
I pray that God will keep this fire in me for me and my family to share with others.
 
We have a BBQ outreach in a bad part of town.  I am going to make sure that this is not a one time deal! 

Hello all @ XXX Church. I just wanted to start by applauding all of you on the work you're doing. It truly is a vital ministry and it's great that you're leading the work against porn. This issue has been on my mind a lot lately and I've been thinking about how the church can work against pornography. Standing outside of porn shops w/ anti-porn propaganda doesn't seem the way to go and would just get one labeled as an extreme right-wing fanatic, who are rarely taken seriously. I believe that there's a more subtle approach to this work, and yet it must also be bold. I think you've got it figured out by attending porn conventions and being a positive presence for Christ in the heart of the beast, so to speak. I also think that your constant presence in Vegas is a huge step forward. I guess I just wonder if there are opportunities for getting involved in other areas, such as in the SF bay area where I'm located? So ya, I guess the point of this message is simply to make contact w/ a ministry that I believe is essential in this day and age, and to find out how I can best support all of you (aside from the obvious...prayer!). Blessings to you all in your ministry!
