Can you give me good suggestions of songs that had helped you in the road to freedom? Any genre would do, and I'd be really thankful if you give me the artist's names.
These will be really useful for me!

"She's a Woman and now He is a Man" by Huker Du. It's a punk-like song.
The chorus tells the whole story.....It's helped me.

Hey everyone, Demon Hunter wrote a fantastic song about the destruction in our lives from addictions, check it out, it's called "Ribcage": (Oh and I like your taste in music PrayerWarriorman!)
All hail the newborn sin
Reject the boundaries and soak the cancer in
Hope kills the filth you crave
So bleed the truth out and fall into that grave
Uphold the brand new skin
Accept the failure, refuse to rise above
Break through the ribcage
And tear the heart out from everyone that you love
[Pre-chorus:]
Over and over again
We’ll bury the shame underneath the lies we breathe
Over and over again
We’ll carry the blame for the hell that we can’t leave
[Chorus:]
Show me – The path that leads into your mind
Release – The thoughts you lock so deep inside
Show me – I’m the one who knew this pain
Release – Before you fall into this again
Behold the loyal slave
His rotting shell now a tomb where death can play
See now his pride caves in
Alone he fights to stop this dark decay
Feed, feed the lust you need
And fainter grows each plea from skies above
Break through the ribcage
And tear the heart out from everyone that you love
[Pre-chorus]
[Chorus]
Building a life out of all that you hate
We see through the front that you tried to create
The world you had hoped for was only a fake
And just like the maggots that made you this way
I know -

Breathe me, by Sia

Help, I have done it again
I have been here many times before
Hurt myself again today
And, the worst part is there’s no-one else to blameBe my friend
Hold me, wrap me up
Unfold me
I am small
and needy
Warm me up
And breathe meOuch I have lost myself again
Lost myself and I am nowhere else to be found,
Yeah I think that I might break
Lost myself again and I feel unsafeBe my friend
Hold me, wrap me up
Unfold me
I am small
and needy
Warm me up
And breathe meBe my friend
Hold me, wrap me up
Unfold me
I am small
and needy
Warm me up
And breathe me -

"Pleasing to you" by the desperation band is good to listen to when tempted
"Overcome" by the desperation band is a good encouraging song for anyone strugling in any area
"Desecration Smile" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers is about a drug addiction, but man, it sure fits a porn addiction too. especially the 3rd verse. man. if only that song ended on a good note cause the singer found Jesus...
but yea, music = awesome. stay strong!!

Two songs that really helped me out when I was feeling totally rejected by a porn-addict husband were:
All the best deceptions ~ Dashboard Confessional (Alternative)
Passion ~ The Nixons(Rock)
I've also noticed that sometimes I'll listen to a song I've heard a million times before, but for some reason, it will really *speak* to me a particular time. Maybe the Holy Spirit intervening? The most recent song this has happened with is:
Falls Apart ~ Thousand Foot Krutch (Christian Rock)
These are all songs I've played to death! Good luck!
