Dear me,

I only have one question. Why do you keep showing up? I can see so clearly after just 3 days of being around you that you make me feel lonely, selfish, and sad. I don’t like you anymore, and I was doing just fine without you, then you came back. Why? I don’t want to see you anymore. In fact, you’re not welcome here anymore.

I want to go to a place that is safe, because you are not. You convince me to do things that I know is bad for me. I have so much love in my life, why do I need you? You’re not loving me, so you must be indifferent about me.

So this letter is to tell you to please go away forever. I don’t want you near me, or my wife, or my kids when they come about. I don’t want your allure.

Less is more. It’s not a myth.
