Last night we celebrated the launch of www.heartsupport.com. We rented out the Red Ball Jet Cafe and invited family and friends to hear about the vision and dreams of heartsupport. For those of you that don’t know the parent ministry to XXXchurch is called Fireproof Ministries. Because of the work of XXXchurch, we get to meet a lot of great people and a lot of these people have ideas and dreams and gifts but don’t feel anyone else would understand how to take those things out to the world. Long story short. El Clinto started something called heartsupport over two years ago that was simply just a t-shirt label. Jon Bell started working with XXXchurch this past year organizing the Porn Debate tour. Jon, Clint and myself all started talking about things and decided to turn heartsupport into a website that could really help people who are struggling with deep issues.
We believe that everyone has a life story and that his or her story is unique. We also believe in strength in numbers. To know that we are not alone in our struggles and to know that someone else has been through what we are dealing with can be the greatest gift and relief. Our aim on the pages of heartsupport.com is to help you understand your journey. heartsupport deals with depression, suicidal thoughts, addiction, self-injury, and eating disorders. Please take the time to learn more about these issues and take part in supporting the heart by uploading your video or story.
Yes, you read it right. You can upload your video right from your computer and put it on the site or put your story in written form. Check it out and let us know what you think.
