This convention was an incredible experience. The response to our presence was shocking at times. Not only did I have people continually asking me questions about what we do, why we do it, and how we do it, but I had people sharing their own personal stories with me about their own lives and why they were engaged with this industry. People were blown away by the fact that we CARE about the people working in this industry AND engaged in the industry even though we may live completely different lives. I would simply say that we care for people and love people and Jesus does too; and that is why we were there. – Brey
My experience with xxxchurch was amazing! Going into it I was extremely excited and some what nervous but getting to the convention I could feel God’s pressence with us and when we got to talk with the porn stars and pass out the Bibles. His love I feel radiated off of the XXXchurch team the whole weekend. Showing all the people walking by our booth the love I felt from God was something I will never forget. His love is so powerful and sharing that with so many at the convention was such a blessing! God’s light was shining so brightly even in a place (like exxxotica) that people would typically think would be so dark. – Corey
This convention was truly a unique experience! There is nothing that can really prepare you for a porn convention, but it is important to know that you quite possibly will see things that will make you feel uncomfortable. It says in the song Hosana “break my heart for what breaks Yours” and this convention definitely did. To see these men and women the way God sees them made it that much more heart-breaking. Having conversations with these women at the convention made it more heart-breaking, because you realize how broken their lives are. I am so thankful and blessed to have been given the opportunity to attend this convention, and to show God’s love to these men and women. – Kristin
