This week has flown by! Where does the time go? I read a book several years ago talking about the Christian lifestyle. The author said that our lives are filled with church, school, family, devotions, work and so many other things. The devil knows that we will not be brought down my his lies. So he uses good to to slow us down. To quote the author ” if the devil can’t make you bad, he will keep you busy”! So much truth. We are going to catch you up on a few things this week you may have missed.
This week Jameson talked about setting boundaries with you boyfriend/girlfriend. He says “Be careful, because one day you’ll have to tell your wife or husband EVERYTHING that you’ve done.”
We joined Jeff again this month talking about the struggles we as men deal with during a month of love. Jeff shares with us how to deal with the temptations during this season of love and how that looks. (vlog)
Craig talked to us this week about talking with your kids about sex. You can catch that X3 Sunday Live event right here.
Last but not least one of the most exciting things ever BOWLFEST!
Mark your calendar now, Aug. 2-4, 2013 in Seattle, WA.Want to be a bowler in our 4th annual bowl-a-thon?! Here’s the details…We have put on a similar fundraiser since 2002 and it is always a fun time PLUS it’s a very successful way to support the ministry. We know YOU are the most important ingredient to that success. Through this effort, $2,500 or more will be raised by each bowler in a very short period of time. The great news is that your goal of getting sponsored $25/per frame can be accomplished in less than 10 hours total time! For each committed fundraiser reaching the $2,500 mark we provide:
* Round trip airfare to Seattle for you
* 2 nights stay at the Westin Hotel in Bellevue, Washinton.
* An incredible VIP bowling party at the Lucky Strikes lanes.
* Dinner with the staff leaders and the Board of Directors of Firepoof ministries.
