Yeah. Well…

You know it’s sad when a news story is so graphic you have to go without hyperlinking it, but being that so many people are a part of the Facebook and Twitter world, I did want to give a heads up on what is reportedly become a new trend. After a particular “reality TV star” tweeted this to his 500,000 followers, something very…unfortunate started to happen:

“How many people r doing the walk of shame hahahaha #wakeupwitharandom #awkwardtaxihome.”

In response, all kinds of guys have been taking *all kinds of pictures* of the girls that they’ve had sex with while they are asleep. Some are simply sleeping next to the *jerkish dude*, but others are totally naked and unaware that shots of them in such a vulnerable state are being tweeted…and retweeted.

Geeze, talk about not casting pearls before swine or giving what is holy to the dogs (Matthew 7:6).

However, the PSA about it is this: My grandma used to say, “If he’s not good enough to get pregnant by than he’s not good enough to have sex with.” If we fast forward it into the technological demographic, “If you don’t know him well enough to believe that he won’t humilate you on Twitter, then not only do you not need to sleep with him, but there needs to be *months* before he even gets a kiss. And if he can’t wait, good riddance. There’s your clue.” Indeed, one-night stands have *always* come at a price, but it’s getting higher and higher when it comes to making pot-shot attempts at reducing a woman’s worth to being next to nothing.

And by the way, isn’t it ironic that the hashtag would be “bedofshame” being that Genesis 2:25 says that in God’s intention for sex, a couple was to be naked and *not ashamed*?

There’s so many reasons why God puts the rules in place that he does. Let this one serve as another reminder that *love covers*.

As for lust…it does really evil things. Like put you on blast on Twitter.
