“Look well to yourself [to
your own personality] and to [your] teaching; persevere in these things
[hold to them], for by so doing you will save both yourself and those
who hear you.”—I Timothy 4:16 (AMP)

Hey Ladies,

I need your help.  I’m not sure if you know it or not, but X3Church is working on a series of books.  One of them will be for specifically us gals and I am honored that they asked me to author it.

If you read these blogs even semi-regularly, then I’m sure it will be no shock to you what I have entitled it: “Eyes Opened; Legs Closed”.  I don’t know, it just seems that the more information I get about God’s purpose for sex, the more cautious I am about having it outside of his perfect will/plan for my life.

Now that doesn’t mean that it’s easy (soooooooooooooo far from that), but as they say, “With knowledge comes power” and God told us in his Word that he didn’t give us the spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)  Did you know that one of the definitons of “sound” is “to investigate”?  So, with this book, I am hoping to do a little investigating in hopes of providing other women with the information/insights that they need to “push the sex plate back” while they are on the “wait until marriage” fast.

This is where you queens come in.

In the opening of each chapter, I want to include some testimonies from women.  No more than 3-5 paragraphs, but I would like it to cover the topics of the book.  If you have a confession re: porn addiction (looking for someone who is past it and still in it), dysfunction relationships, low self-esteem, abuse (of any kind), spiritual brokenness (past or present), single living, sexual involvement (current), deliverance (from any of these issues), would you please contact me?  All you have to do is post a comment that you have a story to share (along with the topic) and I will email you directly (I get them automatically so you don’t have to worry about listing them).

I think this is a powerful way for some of x3Church supporters to share their testimonies.  There’s nothing to be ashamed of.  After all, did you catch the scripture above?  According to the Word, that is how we are saved—by sharing them!

I look forward to hearing from you…
