Lifechurch.tv is a church in Oklahoma we work closely with. They are always thinking new and innovative stuff. Lately I have really enjoyed their new application for the iPhone called YouVersion (it is called “Bible” in iTunes). It is basically an online bible which lets you pick the version you would like to read.

I was at church this weekend and was using YouVersion to follow along with the sermon and my parents thought I was checking emailing or messing around on my phone. Which of course was a good assumption… It was cool to show them that it was Bible on my phone…they were amazed. Pretty high tech star trek.

The pastor from Lifechurch.tv, Craig Groeschel spoke at a conference a couple weeks ago. I read a recap online of what he had to say online. He simply posed these questions:

* What are we doing that we should stop doing?
* What is God trying to show you through your greatest limitation?
* What has God called you to do that you’re afraid to try?

These questions all relate to how seriously we are taking and pursuing God within our personal lives. I do not know exactly what that looks like for you. For me it involves time. A regular time to simply slow down and listen and read and pray and listen some more. Try asking yourself these questions next time you slow down…write them down and wrestle with them and look to God to push you forward.
