I think we have all seen Christian protester in one place or another. I saw a few in Vegas this weekend. The guys this weekend were standing outside of an Art festival, smoothly right in front of the entrance because they are not allowed in, one guy had a megaphone. I asked him why he wasn’t using it and he said this “because they do no not like when I get on that thing down here.”
Exactly, who would like someone screaming at them? And especially screaming you are going to hell.
I confess i grabbed one of the guys large signs that resting against the barricade and ran, it was all in good fun…he ran after me and I just dropped it and walked on. He was laughing but concerned. Do not follow my lead some of those guys get way mad if you mess with them.
A lot of the protesting stuff makes zero sense to me…and as many of you know when we go to a lot of porn conventions there are protesters out front..not cool to say the least…I am excited becasue our generation has far greater priorities than protesting, which is masked by calling what they are doing as “evangelism.”
I hear it a lot, “I went to my church and told them I struggle with porn and they did nothing to help.” If you have been burned by protesters or others who claim to represent Jesus…you are not alone… you are loved…remember the words of Jesus, make them a priority for yourself…and be aware those who do not display love or do know how to…move away from those people who do not get it…you could call getting your love-dar on…(lame, yes a little but true)
