We live in a culture where everyone assumes everyone else is having sex, and starting at an early age. A recent study is debunking that cultural perception and saying this just isn’t the case. Teens are waiting until they are older. Young adults are waiting till they are more mature. We are in an age where sex is marketed to the child in the womb; it’s everywhere and unavoidable.
Yet this study says it is avoidable. It isn’t the main thing. Is it a big thing? Yeah it is! It’s a great thing too! But it’s not the main thing. For whatever the reason: parenting, morality, boundaries, faith – – Sex is trending toward adulthood. And that’s a good thing. It’s a great thing!
