What’s up X3 teens?  I normally write for the mens section but i felt like i need to get one out to you guys this week too. I promise it is short and sweet…

A long time ago i use to work in an ER as a tech. I would draw blood, do EKG’s and other things. One of the other things i would do was assist the ER Docs when they would have to put in stitches. There was this one Dr. who always said when he stuck someone with the needle “I’m sorry the devil made me do it!” He was taking the blame of hurting this person (he didn’t mean to, needles do hurt) off himself and putting it on the devil.

How many times do we place blame when things happen to us? Its easy to say “everyone is doing it”, “nobody’s perfect” or “it’s the others persons fault” and these are just a few examples. I know because i have used them a time or twelve.People who make excuses are trying to place the blame on someone else or something. We as Christians should take responsibility for our actions, confess them and ask God for forgiveness.

God tests people, he does not tempt us! He allows Satan to temp us in order to refine our faith and to help us grow in Christ. We can always resist temptation to sin by looking to God for strength and wisdom. He never fails. That’s a promise.

JAMES 1:15-13

When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, when he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full grown, gives birth to death.
