Question???
I have struggled a long time with porn and lust and ever since I got into ministry it has got a lot harder, so I have found that if I find myself starting to lust after a woman , to turn it into my wife. Now my question is, is it wrong to masturbate while fantasizing lustfully over my wife???

i go to a christian university and i took a class called the psychology of human sexuality. in this class, one of the students asked the professor the same question. my professor responded that it's ok to do this but it can be dangerous. one, you have to remember that people change physically and it's not fair to your wife if you fantasize about her in a certain physical state; she won't look the same for all eternity. and two, you can't forget about her needs. instead of masturbating while thinking about her, why not actually love her? because honestly, which is better: your hand or your wife?
personally, i don't think it is wrong to do this IF you are thinking of your wife. BUT it is a slippery slope. truth is, you're not committing any kind of mental infidelity if you're thinking of your wife but it becomes unfair if you should only think of her at a certain time in her physical state of life. so you see where slippery slopes come in...
