Surrendering
I was born and raised in Las Vegas NV. Growing up, I was first exposed to pornography when I was like 6. My dad used to keep vidioes around everywhere and I eventually became secretly addicted to pornography and masterbation. When I came to college I wasnt a christian but I knew that my life wasnt the way it should have been. I go to a Christian college and I was exposed enough to Christ that I knew HE was the real deal. I knew things had to change but I was bound. For over 12 years all I did to make myself feel good about my life was to masturbate. One night at a church service put on by our school, a man came and spoke on pornography. I knew God was calling me to purity. The thing I want people to know about this, espessially women, is that freedom is obtainable with God. I know we all hear that a lot but many times we feel like because it hasnt happened yet that it will not happen at all. That night I was delivered from my addiction. I was not instintally made whole nor did I never slip up again but that was the night I surrendered to God's will and told Him that He was in control, not my body. Its possible, so possible and God will deliver the humble so draw near to Him and let Him know your heart! Thanks
