No More Internet Explorer

Internet Explore is the choice for many people these days. A lot of people don't realize you don't have to use it. There are other options. If you struggle with porn try a different browser. Here is the latest on IE 8. Beta 2 is expected to go to testers later this week.

With its private browsing feature, called “InPrivate,” Microsoft is allowing users to cover their online tracks. But Microsoft is taking this functionality to a more granular level than some expected. With IE 8 Beta 2, Microsoft also is enabling users to delete selected cookies — not simply all of them. That way, when deleting evidence of which sites s/he visited, a user has the option of keeping the cookies of her/his favorite sites but removing certain others.

Check out their blog for all the lastest.

If you have X3watch you have no worries. Our X3watch developers say "X3watch doesn't use cookies and browser history so that type of privacy issue is no big deal."

Well that is a kick in the pants!

Sad problem, but Firefox and Safari have a very similar feature now also. FF3 allows you to auto clean on every closure of the browser. Safari allows the private mode which actually stops tracking the sites, cookies etc once in that mode. Nice thing is that it is only for that window, and that session. The firefox setting is permenant.

I have a couple of guys on my X3 watch that have been doing the IE7 privacy mode swap and they don't realize that it picks up the addresses anyway. Thank you XXXChurch for the X3 software being such a great tool. It has been a blessing in my own life, and a awesome tool for many other guys to stand strong with others. I encourage everyone to get the free or EVEN better the paid version all the time.

GOD Bless

Safari was originally the first one to have this feature. But now Microsoft is copying ;) way to go Microsoft! But I guess no biggie since X3Watch is all over it!!! ;)

Internet Explorer is a joke. No web developer that I've ever met likes working with the thing. It's lack of proper CSS support is what kills me.

IE and the lack of comprehensive standards is what sort of turned me off from web coding anyway. That and some other problem ;). Anyway Safari is an Apple browser that is available for Windows. That and Firefox is what I recommend for Windows users. There is a third option for Mac users called Camino, which is pretty nifty as well.

that's wack. Sammy should make it explode with his nerdy brilliance.

I listened to Craig's talk @ imago Dei in Portland and was sobered by the fact that only a few @ the catalyst conference chose to take the software. So I downloaded it and made my wife and senior pastor my accountability. I would also like to use either safe eyes or the ethershield @ our church office in the near future.
Thanks for the great programs and all that you are doing keep up the great work!
