Porn Show Update Friday

Day 2 Report (morning)

Were onto day 2. The morning started at 8:30a with coffee and prayer. Craig went to the doctors last night and found out he had bronchitis. He is taking medication. Bad news is that he has passed the bug onto his family. Pray for them as they all are under the weather.

This morning at the show we had a small issue with power at our booth. Got it resolved and got both the booths running. As we were raising Wally we had some issues. We had to recruit 10 people to help us get it up. He almost crashed into 2 other booths. Air flow problems. We heard a huge cheer in the hall as we raised Wally. A nice moment.

The show today has a lot more people and seems to be kicking into high gear. This year it costs $50 to get into the show. WOW. That's more than Disneyland.

Mike And Jr:
The Bibles and the conversations are rolling along. We made an executive decision to slow down on the Bibles in fear that we run out today. Saturday is the big day and we want to make sure that we have enough for that. We chatted with the folks who are at the booth next to us. It is a large fetish internet company. They are showing some pretty freaky stuff over there and we still dont know what they do. But they are some cool people and we had a great talk. Did an interview with Belgian TV and other sex channels. JR had a great conversation with a couple of New Yorkers.

Laci Diane Katie Kim:
They are working the floor talking to girls about the professional hair and makeup services we are offering. Still working on getting girls signed up for tommorow's appointments. Talking to a lot of people and almost out of JLPS shirts.

Rachel Julia Sue and Angela:
Starting tommorow morning the girls will be set up in the JLPS booth doing hair and makeup. We found that it would be easier for the porn girls to get away to our booth. Its going to be really cool and we will definitely post pictures.

I think our favorite moment happened when JR and I were talking to this couple sharing what XXXchurch is all about and had a really positive discussion about porn, faith and religion. As they walked away they said smiling at us "Thank you for not being a**holes." I think that sums it up pretty well. Love wins.
