I am really at a loss…there are no words to describe all that has gone on here, all the conversations, all the people, all the different emotions I have experienced.  All I can say is that any Christian who is feeling discouraged or like God is not with them right now needs to get out there and do something like this!  I have never been so thankful and honored to be in God’s awesome grip and that he would somehow want to use me to tell other people that they can know Him too. I’m going to have to write it all down later, but for now I just ask that everyone pray for those people we touched this weekend that God would pierce their hearts and call them to Him.  In Praise,Diane

I have talked with a former monk, men and women who have straggled in from the electronics convention, blatant perverts who came cameras in hand to harass and demean the girls, young girls barely out of high school, and girls who have been in the industry for years. To say the least I have had many crazy and insightful discussions. I have walked people through scripture explaining why I believe Jesus loves porn stars (the person). Scripture throughout the books of Romans, James, John, and others that explain we have all screwed up, been separated from God, and while we were there he loved us so much that he sent his son Jesus to die for us. I explained to many how its possible to begin a relationship with God at any time. Hundreds of people thanked me for explaining Christ and for their free Bible.  But other than explaining who Jesus is to more people these past couple of days than I had in all of 2005, my highlight of our time here was meeting the girls and telling them we were praying for them. The moment I told them this I could see the walls and the act fall, and the thought that someone would care about them enough to pray for them soften their eyes and penetrate their soul. Every single one of them was sincerely grateful, many giving us their real names and prayer requests. I am thankful that God allowed me to see a small window into their soul, and to be a vessel of love to his daughters.In His Grace,Kim

If I had to choose one word to describe this convention… it would be devastating. It’s devastating how so many people at this show are so shocked to hear of God’s love, it’s devastating the way the men here touch and objectify these girls by asking them things like, “Can I pinch your tit?” It’s devastating how gorgeous these girls are and they don’t realize how precious they are, and that they are daughters of the King. But it makes it all worth being here when we get to see the reactions of the girls when we tell them we are praying for them and that Jesus loves them. They are so excited about the message we are telling because I think it gives them a little bit of hope in a world that seems hopeless where guys only want them for their bodies and the sexual pleasures they provide. On the back of the cards we put the verse, “The King is enthralled by your beauty…” Psalm 45:11 and my hope is that the verse touched the girls’ hearts and brought them a sense of amazing worth. Words can not describe how thankful I am to God for what He has done for me, for His incredible love, and that I am able to enjoy this love everyday!!! ~Laci

Its hard to know where to begin when talking about these past few days. To be completely honest, going into the week leading up to this convention i was insanely nervous. Being this straight forward, open and friendly with porn stars was something that all of a sudden seemed so out of my league that i began questioning God and myself about why i had ever felt called to be a part of this team. However it didnt take long for God to hit me in the face with the harsh reality that its not about me. It's not about my comfort or anything that i may have had planned. It's all about him. And his love. And sharing that love. And how simple is that?! It's about walking up to a girl in a sparkling bra and 8-inch heels to ask for an autograph so that i can tell her in return that i am using it to pray for her. It's about sharing the love of God that i have in me to these hurting girls who are selling themselves to anyone who will pay a buck. After the first few hours of the first day i felt foolish for ever having doubted the power of God in any situation. These girls are simply just my peers. They are young and they have life to live!! They have hopes, dreams and plans for their futures! It is absolutely heart breaking to see them wasting these precious years by being feasted on by the eyes of their employers, by men, media, and the flashes of the crowds that pass by their booths for 9 hours every day. God's love is a powerful tool and it's entirely unselfish. I feel so blessed to have been able to be a part of this incredible outreach and allow God to help me set aside my own desires and instincts in order to show his love to these girls.katie
