To whoever may actually know,
I just watched the X3Church Christmas video where the gals go out to strip clubs and give the girls gifts for Christmas. They also talked about how they’ve been doing this. I haven’t done much research on the site, but I was wondering if someone could tell me more about this. One issue that comes to mind is the following: 1) I know Jesus loves pornstars… but in the sense of the person, he does not love the porn part, I’m wondering what more is to the ministry because if one is just giving them stuff and pamphlets and befriending them, what is being done to discourage them from what they are doing. It’s like giving a man a fish but not teaching him to fish or giving him a rod. They could just be like ooo that is nice gifts, that will help us a little, and then just ignore anything else… I admit though this could be my ignorance of the ministry.
If someone could perhaps respond to this issue, WITH KNOWLEDGE OF THE X3 MINISTRY SPECIFICALLY, that would be great!

These girls are beat down so bad by so many that have a religious views and they have shut them selves off to people like that. We have to use other ideas to work back into their hearts and allow them to trust us and realize we are not like those others. Yes we do bring them gifts and other things but, when we do this we have opened doors for conversations. Many of the people who have helped out with this portion of the ministry have started great fruit bearing relationships with these girls. We also tell them that this is not what God has intended for them and that He loves them so much and that this is not good for them. Trust me it is our goal to bring them back to Christ and for them to live the life that God intended for them.

I’ve been struggling with porn for a while now and am now accountable with a guy in my church. That helps, to a degree but there’s a bigger issue underneath which neither of us know how to deal with…
I’m gay. I don’t want to be. I hate it. I hate myself for it. Trouble is I am really attracted to it! People say that you’re only gay if you choose to be and that it’s just wrong. A former pastor I spoke to about it drew references to Soddom and Gamorra when illustrating the point.
It’s such a complicated issue but I know that I don’t want it for my life. I don’t know who to go to now without being called a sinner, disgusting or even heretical!! I also don’t want people telling me it’s fine! I have a dream of a life with a wife and family (I’ve already named my kids)! I want God’s plan for my life and I KNOW this isn’t it!
What do I do?? I’m lost and confused and need help!!

We are very excited to see you have taken steps to stay clean from porn. It takes a big ovement to get accountability and stick with it.
I can tell you that we will not spit venom or hate on you because of your sexual orientation. We also will not tell you that it is OK either or turn our back on you.
You need to deal with both of these issues but, you will need to battle them as seperate issues. Unless it is the porn that has changed you and brings the desire for homoesexuality. If that is the case removing the porn from your life should bring about change in this area as well.

As a child i was a victim of incest at a disgusting level. I have worked for years to get over being a victim and becoming a survivor. But lately porn and masturbation has taken over my life, and although every time i look at it it reminds me of my past, i cant stop. I feel nasy and demented sometimes because of it. Forget the guilt and shame i feel just down right dirty. But I cant stop. I need some advice. And help. I found this site today and i need HOPE. Can anyone help?
Do you attend a church and if so have you spoken to them about this? Have you talked to anyone else or seeked help from anyone?
