So for about a year now I haven’t looked at porn and around six months ago God really helped me bring down my sex drive. Then about a month ago I started liking this one girl in the ministry that I am in. I haven’t looked at porn, but my sex drive has gone up a lot. Like my body is literally in pain by not masterbaiting. When I’m around the girl that I like its not a problem. I’ve been praying for help a lot more and getting into the word more, but its not really helping much. So my questions are. Is this normal? What are Godly ways of reducing my sex drive? Could this increase in sex drive come from other underlying problems? Anyways thanks for taking the time to read this any help I can get would be great.
It is natural for us to have an attraction to the opposite sex. What we do with that attraction is were we can fall. Get some accountability and talk to someone about the struggles you are going through. Also remember who she is; a daughter of christ. Treat her like you would want your futhur daughter treated. Love her, adore her, and treat her like a princess.
