I used to have a slight porn addiction a few years ago, and I have been clean ever since. But I keep getting urges and I search for porn websites but I dont actually go on them, I keep having sexual fantasies and thoughts. I just want to clean my mind. Every time a girl walks past, I think rude and dirty thoughts in my mind what should I do. I keep looking down at a girls private areas, I want to be pure, I am in secondary school so there are girls everywhere. I am 15 and I do not masturbate and I will never do so. But these urges are not helped, when my friends constantly talk about porn and I have to act like I masturbate and watch porn. I do love god and I want to be close to him, I pray every day and night, but what should I do, I feel like porn is all around me!
The influences of the world are just so overwhelming at times which is why it is so important that our inner circle of friends be like-minded people who can actually speak life and truth into us and our walk with God.
It’s not that you can’t be friends with those guys but allowing them to influence you and your belief system is another thing.
I recommend that you begin to seek out friendships with like-minded guys your age and be accountable to one another. If you have a hard time setting that up why not seek out a youth pastor or pastor who can help guide you?
A girl at my school is pregnant. I live in a good part of town, and I have a boyfriend myself. I don’t want the same thing to happen to me, but my boyfriend is sweet and I don’t want things to change between us for a while. How do I make myself feel better about having a relationship?

We strongly believe in accountability in relationships. Obviously if a girl at your school is pregnant by her boyfriend, she most likely was alone and put herself in that situation. It is best to have healthy boundaries in your relationships and keep them open in public places.
Stay involved in youth group and have accountability with peers and youth leaders or adults.
The pressure is hard in today’s society but there is victory in a multitude of godly counsel and accountability!

I don’t have much experience with soul/ spirit ties in friendships. I think if it is a stong hold you can simply ask for the hold to be broken by the blood of Jesus.
God is faithful to lead us and to give us what we need. Keep pressing into Him.
