Porn Addiction

I know that God forgives you for your sins. But I remember in church way back when the pastor said something that contradicted that God forgives no matter what. Basically, my pastor said that if you committed a sin and asked God to forgive you, he would do it. However, if you repeated that cycle over and over for the same crime, he wouldn’t? For example, time and time again I give in to my porn addiction. I pray to God that he will forgive me, and I know he has. But I feel as if it’s not enough. As if the sin i keep committing and ask God to forgive me for, has clouded over me. i don’t know what to do. My addiction hasn’t stopped for the last 3 years. Some times have been better. Some have been worse. I need help. Please do your best to provide me with advice!

No matter what we do God will forgive us as long as we truly do want His forgiveness. Like it says in the parable of the unmerciful servant in Matthew 18:21-22

21 Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?”

22 Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.

God loves you Steven but, you have to make the steps to get help and show Him that you are seeking His grace and mercy.

Masturbation

I really want to stop masturbating but i’m kind of worried about how my body will react to this after doing it soooo often. I have heard that you can get wet dreams, and i still sleep over at friends house and my mom wakes me up every morning so that will be embarrassing. Also I heard that it does other things that idk if I can live with but I need to know how to deal with these if I stop.

You need to stop worring about what MIGHT happen. You will not have wet dreams because you stop masturbating. Dude sex is a great thing that is given to us by God as a gift. Sex is also to be between a man and his wife. If you keep this up you will do it when you get married as well. You are only creating a habit that will take away from your sexual life with your wife to be.
