I am 14, grown and raised in a christian enviroment. I am currently going to a christian school and have a strong relationship with God. But now I am addicted to masterbating and porn. It started with googling victoria secret models when I was 11, and eventually it turned into watching porn at age 13. I eventually quit porn for about 5 or 6 months, than I started having sexual desires and taught myself how to master bate. I would do it in the shower. Its been about a month since i started and now I am doing it with porn. I don’t do it because I am depressed or anything, but just because I am bored and it feels so good. Now it has become addictive. How do I stop?

Your struggles are not uncommon especially in the world of technology that we live in. Being so young you have a chance NOW to lay this down and walk in a way that will bring fulfilment and peace in your life.
If you read through the many questions, confessions, blogs and books available on our site the one common factor to breaking free is accountability in your life. You need to confess your struggle to someone you trust and someone who can hold you accountabile. This should be a person who is a positive role model in your sphere of influence. A parent, pastor, youth pastor etc.
Spend some time reading through Psalm 51 and hear David’s cry out to the Lord. Make that your honest heart cry too.
God sees, knows and longs to replace your false fulfilment with the real deal.
I am not sure ,but I am not addicted to porn but I am addicted to masturbation,cant go a week without it.is it still wrong if I keep my thought clean while doing it?
We’ve answered this question repeatedly so therefore many struggle with this question.
Is it conviction or is it condemnation you are sensing over habitual masturbation? Only you can come to that conclusion for yourself. We have taken the stance that sex (and sexual gratification) is designed for marriage as an expression of love and pleasure in that marriage– something only your spouse can give you. It sets the marriage relationship above all others.
While one may argue that they are not fornicating/lusting during masturbation, the other question that arises is this: By masturbating are you training your own body to respond to the pleasure that you bring about? Could our bodies become dependant on self pleasure to the point that it takes away from instead of adds to the marriage bed?
I can’t answer that but many people that share their stories with us share that this indeed was true for them.
I desperately need serious help. i’m a christian but porn has been a thorn in my flesh for over 10years.i pray to God for forgiveness every morning,then the next night i’m back to watching porn.if i continue like this i’m gonna miss God’s kingdom…i started masturbating 5months ago,i sincerely have tried to stop doing it,but my efforts are no good and i’m beginning to feel i’l never be able to overcome these things.There are no accountability partners in my area…Please everyone,i desperately need help…Thanks and God bless you all for the work you’re doing in this site
What do you mean there are no accountability partners in your area? Are you in church or school? Surely there is someone in your sphere of influence that you can seek out to be OPEN with. If seriously no, then check into our X3groups.
