Pornography… What corrupts my life and makes it extremely hard to stay in a constantly good relationship with Christ. Everyday I am reading the bible, praying, etc. doing all that I can to stay in touch with God. And it is always when I get home from school and am alone when I fall into the temptation. It says somewhere in Romans I believe, that Hod judges your private life, and my private life sucks and is failing. I am not a slave to cussing, stealing, drugs, or anything else… Just porn. Even when I watch it I think about christ, yet I do it anyway. And after I’m finished, I just feel absolutely angered about what I have done and I am ticked off. I am taking advantage of his grace and lusting at the same time. It’s horrible. Will god still accept me into his kingdom and can I ever win this war? Thank you. In christ…
With this struggle we often find ourselves beating ourselves up with great strength. With this sin it drags us down into the pit and feeds us a lie in life that we have no hope, no way out, or that we are the only ones that are dealing with this. We all to often listen to these lies and believe in them allowing for this sin to take us down further.
You can change this and turn things around. You have to bring others into this with you and allow for them to love you and be able to hold you accountable for what is going on. Pray for God to show you who this person is and tell them everything that you are going through. Do not leave anything behind to keep that door to this sin open. Get yourself some good accountability software to cover you on your PC, Mac, iPhone, Ipod, or android devices. We recommend that you look into getting X3 Watch and get this going right away.
Again we can feel like we have abandoned God and we may have but, He has never left us. He has been there the whole time just begging for us to come back to Him and allow for His love to fill us again and to allow the truth to fill us once more. Remember that there is nothing that we can do that will take His love from us.

How do I distract myself when I’m sitting in bed at eleven o’clock at night and have the intense urge to masturbate. I mean I can easily distract myself during the day but that’s not when I struggle the most. Please help my life is falling apart.
First, have you spoken to anyone about this locally that can help you and provide accountability for this? There are a few things you can try, not going to guarantee them but, they are options. Try reading your bible before you go to bed and get right with God before going to bed. Ask him to help you during the night and walk you through this.
You can also make sure that you are tired before going to bed by playing sports, exercising, or reading. Make sure that when you go to bed that you are going to fall asleep.
You could also get right up when you have the urge and read a book or maybe turn on the TV.
We know this is tough and know that we are praying for you and you are not alone.
I just down loaded the free version of 3xWatch. I need to get past my addiction to pornography. I am currently waiting for a close Christian Brother, who is also a cousin of mine, to email me back because I want him to hold me accountable. My question is: What if I break down and find a way past the software? What is stopping me from, say, uninstalling the software? Or bypassing it? I’m scared that I will break down and find a way past it…
If you try and remove, stop, or uninstall the software will notify your accountability partner that you have done so. Other than that there is nothing to stop you other than your desire to be free from this sin.
