Frequently Asked Questions.
what should i do when i get tempted to masturbate?
James,
When you are tempted you should find something else to do. the first thing you need to do is remove yourself from the situation and leave that behind. This could be just a matter of going out into a public area, leaving your room and going to where others are in your house. Leave and go see friends, read a book, or what ever you can do to remove yourself from that situation.
I’m a girl so i don’t know much about porn, but I found porn on my dad’s computer the other day. He’s been married for a little over 20 years, so why is he doing this? Do I tell my mom? What do I do?
Abby, I would ask your dad for some time to sit down with him and just have a very open talk with him. Let him know that you where on the comuter and there was some pornographic sites that popped up and it concerned you.
I would just gently bring this topic up to him and do not get into heavy details. Just that you saw it and it bothers you. I would not take this to your mother as of right now but, see what moves with your talk.
Please know that you are not alone in this and that we are praying for you.
i am 16, female and addicted to porn. i started off by playing porn games when i younger, then it developed into looking at pictures and as i do now, watching porn. i am a roman catholic and i want to stop but then again i don’t know if i could. this is really embarrassing and i feel so disgusted with myself. i have confessed this sin at least 3 times and i would stop for a few weeks and then urge would come back and i would give in. please please please…..i need help…..lots of it.
