Hi, I went to the CHALLENGE 2012 confrence and I loved it! I have commited to stop watching porn. Here is my problem, I am dipressed and I like a girl who I think likes me and I feel really sad inside…all I have to do is play Xbox 360 this summer…what do I do?
I’m 18 years old have been watching porn since I was 14 unfortunately everyday it gets worse and I have come to the conclusion that I’m addicted. Recently I have re-newed my life for Christ and see the hope and the strength that He can give as I now have gone a mere 4 days without masturbation and pornography. Much to my dismay I have developed Homosexual thoughts/desires! How can I think pure thoughts about one another when Im tempted? Is there hope to overcome my addiction and lastly is there hope that one day I’ll be straight (Sexually) ?? Please respond with a personal answer as I see you respond a lot with the same answer Thanks!
I hate myself for what ive done. I have exploted so many people for my own pleasur. I dont understand how God could forgive me, or why he would want to. I have deliberatly defied him and rubbed my sin in his face. and now all i have is shame and guilt. Why would God want me? why would he forgive me? How can i stop disapointing him? Lastly, i know you have absolutly no idea who i am, but i would really apreshiate your prayers, becasue i know i cant do this alone.
