I looked at porn for the first time when I was 11 and it has been an issue ever since. Masturbating to pornography hasn’t been an issue up until these past two years. My mom knows, as well as my youth pastor’s wife. I guess i know in my head it’s wrong, and that when I fail God can forgive me, but it’s like i can’t get a grip on this. I can’t stop. I took your addiction quiz, know the results before hand. I know i’m addicted, but even with an accountability partener I can’t stop. I feel guilty and ashamed, and I need to know how to quit this. I have accountability, a filter, everything, but I still find this crap. HELP!

Hey, my name is ralf and I havent been watching porn too long, maybe a year.But one thing is that I am terribly scared to tell anyone about it. I’m scared of rejection or ack of interest but it just kills me. I have a ministry as a musician at my church and perhaps that is why I’m scared; to not disappoint anyone or something.But I really want to stop. I feel like God has really big plans for me, bu I feel like I have to brake this wall before continuing. I have a string character, not easily stirred by exterior factors, bt I feel like a complete mess inside. I try to pretend to be clean, but I have come to admit my mistake, now I just need to take action. But like the saying goes, easier said than done. I know Jesus can help me but something im doing something wrong. I took me a while to realize I couldn’t do this by myself. I know I need help.

I am battling to overcome an addiction to porn. How can I look at a woman with pure eyes and not see things in a way that I know is not right? How can I erase the images, thoughts and feelings that I may have? Is it possible to avoid lusting after a woman’s body and see her as the person that God created her to be?
