How to handle a fiance not addicted but needs it?

Dear XXX Church, I need your help I think porn is among the most disgusting things to ever have been invented. It’s not natural, it’s a fantasy that people have accepted as a healthy reality when it is not. How do I express to the person who means the most to me that it shouldn’t be in their moral compass to even consider watching it, when it makes me feel so disgusting and I’ve lied about it due to fear for so long? I feel like i’ve begged and even though he says he won’t watch it, I almost feel like he’s making me feel guilty for not feeling comfortable with him having a “quick fix?”

With this being your fiance you really need to sit down with him and have a soild open talk with him about this. You need to express your feelings, why this bothers you, and why you do not want this in your marriage. If this is something that wrecks you, you need to tackle this before your wedding day. No one should be in a marriage that has issues right from the start without stepping up and facing the issue head on.

Make sure that when you do talk about this that it is a calm environment and that you are not on the offensive pushing him away. When a man is confronted with somethin glike this they can tend to feel like they are being backed into a corner and then come out swinginig. By providing a calm conversation he will feel like he is being respected and will more willingly have this conversation.

Does the body have a physical need to ejaculate

I am new to this site and I apologize if this question has already been discussed. I am addicted to porn and masturbation like most men are but I am trying to fight it and I am making some progress though not as much as I would like. I want to say this: I thank everyone for this site. It is great. Anyway, my question is this: Doesn’t the body have a physical need to ejaculate periodically? How could masturbation be wrong if this is the case. I have found that when I go for a long time without doing it that my testicles start to hurt badly. Then it sometimes happens in my sleep. One could masturbate without looking at porn and without thinking of anything bad though it is difficult. So would this be alright? I know the Bible does not specifically address porn or this situation so it may be hard to determine what is right. Thanks for the help everyone.

We appreciate your question and yes it has been answered before but it’s OK- happy to respond again.

We believe that sex is for the mutual pleasure of spouses giving to one another within the covenant of marriage. We believe that masturbation is a sexual act that serves only self.

Breasts supply milk to babies but not every woman who has breasts bears a child. Therefore using the excuse that a build up of semen requires masturbation just doesn’t fly.
