Frequently Asked Questions.
Hi, I think that the work you guys do is amazing and would like to thank you for it. A big thing with internet browsers with in the past few years is the “Private” or “Incognito” browsers that don’t save your internet history, cookies, etc. Does X3watch still work and monitor in those types of modes?
Hi Matthew,
Thanks for the support!
Yes; X3watch does work to monitor those secret browsers!
Hi, my name is Nick and I’m a 14 year old high school student. When I was 11 I watched porn for the first time. I thought it was weird and it seemed wrong, but I wanted more. I was addicted but didn’t know it for about a year. My dad eventually caught me and took away my computer. That stopped my addiction for 2 years. When I was 13 I bought a computer and my dad told me if he found out that he would take away this computer. I was fine for about a year and a half. One night I got a porn virus on my computer and I had to tell my dad. My computer was taken and my addiction raged on. In my current condition I have been consumed by porn and masturbating. I pray for forgiveness every night I mess up. I keep making promises and I keep letting God down. I cant live like this. I need a way out. I need… to be free. How?
Dear Nick,
I know your dad has caught you twice but have you ever sat down with him and made it a point to talk with him about your struggle, the battle you face daily and your genuine desire to break free from it?
We believe that confession and real accountability is one of the greatest ways to win this thing. If your dad just doesn’t get it, what about your pastor or youth pastor?
You need some help going at this. We have a lot of free resources in the teens section of this site but nothing is going to take the place of real life accountability and someone to not only encourage you but really challenge you and hold you accountable.
God bless you.
Hi, my name is Laila. I went to a church camp recently and I believe I felt God’s presence and was saved at camp. But I have a problem with masturbation and porn. I’m confused on whether masturbation Is a sin if your only thinking of an imaginery person so its not lusting. Right? Also Masturbation is my way of preventing myself from having sex. Is that wrong? Also need tips on stop watching porn, I know for sure that’s a sin. Thanks
Dear Laila,
This question has been asked and answered many times. So you are not alone in your thinking. Often times when we don’t want to give something up we will find countless reasons in our minds on how to justify it.
We take the stance that God designed sex and sexual stimulation to be mutual in marriage- a gift to give your spouse. Masturbation only serves self. It has also been repeatedly mentioned amongst so many who have struggled with this that the body can become dependant on masturbation for stimulation and then is not as sensitive in responding to the mutual stimulation found with a spouse. You have to make this decision yourself but this is our take on it.
